what would you do
if a brand wrongly thinks they know best
about seo
well i i think oh man i’m going to use
the word depends
um how do they think they know best
and and more than not you can prove it
with those
three main components three metrics that
matter
because generally most companies
business model is based on
either beating the competition so
differentiation traditional marketing
and putting that messaging on their
website um
same thing you know looking at traffic
is are they getting traffic
generating revenue through ads or just
generating
eyeballs that make sense and then number
three are they getting the conversions
that make sense so
if they come to you and say we don’t
need seo
but we’re you know we want to chat
anyway he said well why do you want to
chat
are you getting enough eyeballs are you
getting enough traffic are you gonna
have conversions
is your brand showing up and generally
they’ll come back to you and say
well we have this problem and that’s
where
seos can help because we are problem
solvers we are and the idea is to bring
the right tools
to the to the fight you know bring the
knife to a gunfight
well-educated seos can find solutions to
the problems that companies have so big
companies
they might think seo is important but if
you
look at their pressures from either
shareholders or internal stakeholders
generally those problems can be solved
through uh better organic
search results better visibility better
traffic
better conversions so i i’ve never
actually gone to a big company that said
you need seo
i’ve always had companies come to me and
say i have a problem can it be sold with
seo and good seos can find the solutions
